'Tis the season! To plant a garden, to believe in tomorrow, and to care for one another.

Joins us at our fundraising plant sale, featuring dozens of varieties of plants, seedlings, and seeds, all accessibly priced between $2 and $6. Proceeds go to the families supported by the Niagara Palestine Coalition, as well as to the Gaza Sunbirds organization.

Also available for purchase: local artisanal works and foods.

Bring your mum or maternal figure, bring a friend, bring your green thumb! You can bring gardening questions too, because there will be a few knowledgeable folks on hand ready to help with free and enthusiastic advice.

Plants and seedlings grown naturally, and donated by amateur enthusiasts, so please be prepared for some imperfections.

About half the indoor seedlings out for a little nature bath: light rain, overcast, a peek of sun now and then. They’re toughening up, and getting ready for the sale on Mothers Day! Their outdoor friends (in the jugs that act as mini greenhouses) are gathering steam, as it were, and growing.

The land on which I operate (Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada) is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, Neutral Peoples, and other Indigenous Peoples from all over Turtle Island. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. I offer my sincere gratitude and respect to the original and continued stewards of this land.

I also acknowledge Indigenous, Black, people of colour, women, non-binary folks, and 2SLGBTQQAI+ people who have all been marginalized for centuries, and our collective responsibility to take action toward a world free from oppression, discrimination and racism.

ImpNet intends to keep trying to do better, and inspiring others to try too.

Taking one step away from being this kind of org, I donate 5% of all ImpNet income to payyourrent.ca, the Nii’kinaaganaa Foundation: Collecting rent and redistributing it to Indigenous People.
